This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction : Endonucleolytic cleavage at a junction such as a reciprocal single-stranded crossover between two homologous DNA duplexes (Holliday junction) The enzyme from Saccharomyces cerevisiae is not active on DNA molecules that do not contain Holliday junctions. == References ==
